The Reformation Church of Hilden is one of the important late galleried basilicas in Romanesque style on the Lower Rhine. Formally restrained, highly efficient, technically sophisticated luminaires support the celebration of the liturgy, in that the complexity of the sacred space is emphasized in retrievable lighting scenes. In addition to the indirect lighting in the main and side nave, the accentuation of the galleries contributes to a comprehensive positive new sense of space.
